We now return the deposit amount required for your chosen stay

Sometimes stays require travellers to pay a deposit before check-in. For example, a hotel may require an upfront deposit to secure the booking. In Duffel Stays, these rates are published with type deposit.

After creating a quote for your stay, you can now view detailed deposit information for your selection through two new properties: deposit_amount and deposit_currency. These fields allow you to clearly display deposit requirements to travellers during the booking flow, helping them understand the total upfront costs before they commit to their reservation.
