We now return rate description via the Stays API

We now return a rate’s description field to the Rate object in the Stays API. This field contains the supplier's rate description, which typically includes details on what's included—such as meal plans, amenities, credits, or special benefits.

This field is most useful for negotiated rates, where travel managers and agents need to verify rate conditions or understand what a traveller is entitled to. For standard rates, this field will typically be null.

The description is returned exactly as provided by the supplier and is not normalised across sources. It's intended for internal use or agent review rather than direct display to guests.

We've also added this field to the Duffel Dashboard on both the checkout screen and booking details page.
