If you use search by location using an external geocoding API, your users may struggle to get an exact match for the specific accommodation you have available. External APIs often lack comprehensive data on Duffel Stays, with mismatches in names and geographic locations.

Our new Accommodation Suggestions API solves this problem. Send user queries to both your geocoding or suggestion API and Duffel’s Accommodation Suggestions API to return the most relevant results for your users. The API provides exact locations and correlates search results with the accommodation ID, ensuring a smooth and efficient search experience. The API is built to strict performance constraints, enabling it to be used for the query as it’s typed.
