Rates can now map to a single room across multiple sources

We now return rates for the same room from multiple providers together under the same room. This results in an easier comparison for travellers with 30% fewer rooms and less irrelevant rates, due to removal of more expensive rates from the search result.

When accommodation load their room details across different channels, the names can end up different. i.e. ‘Refurbished Double room with Sofa bed’ and ‘Double room’ may be the same physical room, just with a different room name.

As of today, we now detect and automatically map these rooms together across providers. Rooms may now include rates from all sources, Priceline, Booking.com or Travelport. This also results in more relevant rate options with rates that have no differences other than price being discarded.
