CustomerUsers are now assigned to an environment

We have made a significant update to our CustomerUser feature. Before today, a CustomerUser made with any token would be available in both test and live modes.

To bring consistency with the rest of our API and improve the usability of this feature, from today, all CustomerUsers will only be accessible in the mode in which they were created (as dictated by the token used to create them).

Existing CustomerUsers (made before 17th January, 2025) will be assigned a mode based on the following rules:

• Any CustomerUser assigned to a live order or booking will be assigned to live mode.

• All other CustomerUsers will be assigned test mode.

Any CustomerUsers previously associated with both test and live mode travel will no longer be associated with the test mode travel. This is a one-time update and only applies to CustomerUsers made before 17th January, 2025. CustomerUsers made after this date can only be associated to travel which is in the same mode that the CustomerUser was created in.
