API v1 is now available

We’re excited to announce the general availability of v1 of our API.

Over the last couple of years we’ve been in our beta phase as we’ve fine-tuned our product and understood the complex airline industry. v1 of our API represents the notable point in that journey and our confidence in our API.

We’ve detailed how we handle versioning at Duffel and we recommend reading it through if you'd like to learn more.

What’s different from beta to v1?

Nothing. We changed and improved beta to the point where it’s stable and reliable.

How do I migrate from beta to v1?

We’ve written a migration guide to walk you through the very simple process of updating your integration from the beta version to the v1 version. The migration can take as little as a few minutes.

When will I have to migrate by?

In 6 months - on 18 April 2023.

What about our public API client libraries?

We’ve updated them to use the new version.
